Feeling a little cabin fever and homesick, we took a short trip out for some American Gourmet Dining.
Our daughter is not afraid to let you know when she is not happy with a situation. The biggest obstacle is getting her used to the new food. She hasn't turned any food away but not all have settled well with her. We were up most of the night last night with her Tummy aches. (Please keep her in your Prayers for a quick adjustment) I finally took her down to the sub-lobby so Christy could have a little rest other than the naps she got while holding her.
We left early this morning for the U.S. Embassy. We were ushered to the front of the line ahead of the Russian citizens seeking travel Visa's. We are brought to a room with 15 other adoptive families seeking their child's travel Visa's. Once again, we tear up with the elation of witnessing 15 less Orphan's in this world!!! The process was very quick and in 30 minutes we were given all of Lena's Travel Papers :-)
This whole process has gone so much better than we could have ever wished for. The people at our adoption agency are so amazing at what they do. Our process has gone so much more smoothly than we expected. We also believe that Irene and Yuri are Angels sent by God to protect and guide us through this process. They even gave us Christmas Gifts :-)
Soak up every moment of this sweet time with Lena in Moscow. I just love girls with strong personalities!! Missing you guys like crazy. Praying for great bonding & adjustments. Love you guys!
